Engine Reconditioning

Normally, a customer contacts us due to an engine problem. If possible, we try to find out what happened during the first meeting and work with the customer to find out whether a repair or overhaul of his engine is a viable alternative to the more expensive replacement engine.

If the overhaul is possible and reasonable, the transport of the engine or vehicle/aggregate is defined. In addition to the actual engine overhaul, we also offer our customers the removal and installation of their engines.

Once the engine or vehicle has arrived, it may be dismantled, photographed and then disassembled and completely cleaned. Already at this time an internal „online“ history with pictures of the incoming inspection, damage documentation and technical information is created. A production document is created for the employees involved and all test and assembly protocols are now stored in this folder.

All reused components are inspected and checked for dimensional accuracy. A list of the required components and the work to be carried out is drawn up and a detailed and binding offer is submitted to the customer. If desired, the customer can view damage images of his engine online at this point in time, which often simplifies and accelerates the decision-making process. Upon release to carry out the overhaul, spare parts are ordered, and all components are reworked in the required sequence.

In the subsequent assembly process, each work step is checked and documented.

The test run on the engine test bench or commissioning in the vehicle/aggregate is the final stage. Before delivery, photos are created and stored in your project. This enables us to achieve an outstandingly low complaint rate of well below 1% of our turnover.
