The decisive factor within the production and overhauling of engines is precision
as the quality of an engine is hidden in the details. Even the slightest inaccuracy
may have a major influence upon the operational capability.
For this reason, quality and control, as well as the
optical, geometrical and
mechanical verification of the components, are allocated top priority in our enterprise.
Consequently, ever step of the assembly is checked, and documented through the recording
of measuring points and measurement values in an individual comprehensive assembly documentation.
For this purpose, there are precisely determined specifications and setpoint values which must be
fulfilled without compromise for every component, regardless whether it is a compressor, a fuel
injection pump, a cylinder head, or a crank mechanism.
The quality of our processing chain is thoroughly and regularly checked by the
TÜV Rhineland (state technical inspection authority) and
we are actually
the first enterprise to be
certified
according to the new
DIN EU ISO 9001:2008 Standard.
Finally, even though we assemble every engine with the highest possible degree of accuracy and carefully selected
components, every engine is,
in the final step, tested on the motor power testing station for performance and
function in order to ensure that only premium products make their way to the customer. Quality, as we define it,
is when the customer returns and not the product.
